1. You need to login to the Santa Barbara County Education Office (SBCEO) portal.
You can access this from http://www.vmsteacher.com/ or http://www.lusd.org/
vmsteacher.com: click on the Moodle link on the home page
lusd.org: there is a link to the portal on the left-hand side in the blue strip near the bottom
The username is buena and the password is eagles
2. After you login to the portal, you need to navigate to Moodle.
Toward the top of the page there are tabs... Home, Research and Reports, ..... Moodle. (click on it)
You should see a large poodle....
If you are logging in for the first time, you will need to change your password before accessing the class.
All student passwords start with bv12 and include their first and last name. No spaces, capital letters, or symbols should be necessary.
bv12firstnamelastname is what it should look like...
The initial password is changeme...
You should be presented with a page that has a box for the original password and two boxes for the new password. (one for verification)
Choose a new password that is easy for you to remember. Please do not share this with other students.
You are responsible for the things that are attributed to you on the site, EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT THE ONE WHO MAKES THE POST!
After you finish this process, there will be a class or classes to the left part of the screen that say "Mr. Baker's Class" "Social Studies" "Math" etc. Enter and explore a little.
You can enter as a guest, but parts of the site, and some activities, will not be functional.
